The story is set just after Alice’s second Lewis Carroll adventure, Through the Looking Glass. Alice’s house is burned down, and her parents and older sister are killed in the blaze. Alice doesn’t seem to be able to cope, and is sent to an insane asylum. The entire interactive story is extremely creepy, and does share similarities with the recent movie, Sucker Punch. Alice needs to return to Wonderland, in her mind, to make things right. The story and upcoming game are exceptionally twisted tales, and Wonderland has become an unrecognizable wasteland ruled by the Red Queen.
All of the well known characters from the story we know have become exceedingly disturbing, and that’s what makes the tale so intriguing. The free app is available for all iOS devices, and has an exceptional design. There aren’t the most features to interact with, but the imagery and story itself are so frighteningly beautiful that you just can’t look away.
