IOS Software-12.4.15T14. Products Expand All Collapse All. Release 12.4.15T14 This device has been saved to 'My Devices' list Cisco. I just bought a 2650XM and it has an older IOS on it (c2600-advsecurityk9-mz.124-5.bin). Which IOS should I use? Cisco list the following as the latest releases for the 2650XM with the first two as MD and the rest as ED.

If you were successful in loading the image into flash on another router then it does sound like a hardware problem with flash on the first router. The typical steps for a factory default reset is to: - go into enable/privilege mode - issue the write erase command - issue the reload command You are welcome to try to do this. But if the problem is hardware related on the flash then I am not optimistic that a factory default reset is going to resolve the problem.
I think it would be more effective to try to format the flash and attempt the image load again.
